and by the same token, pretty sad. i'm hardly a luddite, but i find myself more and more disturbed by the poor attention given to security and just the general lack of understanding when it comes to security issues. it's not just in the wireless arena either. i'm increasingly of the opinion that all link layer security mechanisms are inherently flawed and the only right way to solve these problems is through a forced L3+ crypto mechanism. i.e.: force all traffic to an IPSec concentrator of some sort or force SSL/SSH based VPN operation. null route everything else. securing applications? that's another matter entirely.
