Having the opinion of a family member who works in the appliance
industry, I put very little credibility in Consumer Reports and similar
entities.  When testing washing machines, dryers, ovens, dishwashers,
etc. they often rate two appliances (that are built in the same
factory, whose only difference is the badge/brand name on the front) on
completely opposite ends of the spectrum.  

I will usually check on sites like Amazon that allow people to leave
feedback on products.  But of course I take it all with a grain of
salt.  In the end I agree with the others, buy it and if you don't like
it return it.
